Neocrete was founded in New Zealand in 2018 by Zarina Bazoeva and Matt Kennedy-Good, with a goal to re-engineer concrete to be regenerative, resilient and carbon zero. Starting from our first lab in a shipping container, we realised that to make an impact, we had to find a way to make better concrete, at a lower price and scale fast. We do this by improving the efficiency of cement hydration and pozzolanic reactions.

Neocrete now runs laboratories and offices in Parnell, Auckland, and a manufacturing plant in South Auckland, with a team in London. Our first scale customer is in Brunei in South East Asia, and we are runing testing programmes with customers in Europe, the Middle East and the USA. Neocrete is venture backed by investors led by Wavemaker Partners.
